3. Paint Our Pottery We’ll finish our penguins and plates with paint in a rainbow of colors, sparkles and glitter. Our pottery can go home on the day we paint it.
1. Penguins We’ll make penguins and paint them.
2. Holiday plate We’ll turn clay slabs into plates that we decorate with cookie cutter shapes and bright colors.

We’ll use real clay & glazes to make cows, pigs, cats, aliens and more. We’ll learn about coil pots, pinch pots, and working with clay slabs to create pottery that we glaze in lots of bright colors. Adventures in Art will fire the pottery in a kiln and bring it back to school so students can take their finished work home. In our last class we'll use paint in a rainbow of colors to finish pre-made pottery.  (K-5)



Day & time: Friday • 4:00-5:00

Class dates: 12/7, 12/14, 12/21, 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22 (No classes 12/28, 1/4, 2/1)

4. Snowman Our snowmen will have hats, scarves and more.
5. Animal Mug We’ll make mugs with big handles and then add a face of our favorite animal.
7. Glaze Our Pottery We will finish the pottery that we’ve made with bright, shiny glazes. Adventures in Art will fire the pottery and bring it back to school the next week so students can take their work home.
6. Leaping Lizards! We’ll make lizards with webbed feet, scales, big eyes and curved tails.
8 & 9. Monsters In our eighth class we’ll make monsters with lots of fun features. In our last class we will finish our monsters with paint in a rainbow of colors, sparkles and glitter. Our monsters can go home on the day that we paint them.
