CLAY CREATIONS 2 at Edison

In Clay Creations 2 we’ll use real clay and glazes to make aliens and coil pot elephants. We’ll glaze our creations with bright, shiny colors. Adventures in Art will fire the pottery and bring it back to school the next week. In our last class we will finish pre-made pottery with paint in a rainbow of colors, glitter and sparkles. (1- 5) Weds. 3:30-4:30

Functional Pottery 2 April 18, 25, May 2, 9  $80.00 

Functional Pottery March 14, 21, April 4, 11 ( no class March 28 )  $80.00

3. Glaze Our Pottery In our third class we will finish the pottery that we’ve made with bright, shiny glazes. Adventures in Art will fire the pottery and bring it back to school the next week so students can take it home.
4. Painted Pottery We’ll use acrylic paints to finish pre-made pottery (bisque), like this dragon, in a rainbow of colors. This project is for decorative use only and can go home on the day that we paint it.
1. Alien  We’ll use clay slabs to make aliens.
  1. The cost of each class is eighteen dollars ($18), plus a two dollar ($2) materials fee, for each student, for a total cost of twenty dollars ($20), per student, per class. For example: the cost of a four week workshop would be 20 x 4 for a total of $80.

2. Elephant We’ll turn coil pots into elephants with trunks, tails and big ears.
